Terms & Conditions

Please carefully review these terms & conditions prior to booking. Please be advised that all reservations must be confirmed with a valid credit card. All reservations will be pre-authorized $10 (+tax) upon booking.

 

CANCELLATION POLICIES:
As a small inn, cancellations affect us dramatically. All reservations are subject to the cancellation policies listed below. Reservations canceled prior to the applicable cancellation window, will be charged a $10 (+tax) processing fee.  Reservations canceled after the applicable date will be charged the full amount of the reserved stay (no exceptions). Early departures or other modifications are considered cancellations and as such fall under the same policy.

 

7-DAY CANCELLATION POLICY - All reservations (excluding Holiday season & some discounted rates) are subject to our 7-day cancellation policy and become non-refundable 7-days prior to arrival. Any modifications or cancellations must be received  7 days prior to your arrival, and all reservations are charged in full during business hours (9am to 5pm) 6 days prior to arrival. If you choose to use an alternative form of payment upon arrival you will be assessed an additional 10% processing fee.
HOLIDAY SEASON (December 27th, 2017 – January 2nd, 2018 & President's Day Weekend) The entire reservation is charged at time of booking and is non refundable.
EMERGENCY CANCELLATIONS: Upon booking, travel insurance may be purchased separately through Allianz Global Assistance (www.allianztravelinsurance.com). Use code ACCAM F203511.  The Palm Beach Historic Inn WILL NOT AUTHORIZE ANY REFUNDS AFTER THE CANCELLATION WINDOW HAS CLOSED.  All emergency cancellation claims must be settled directly through Allianz Global Assistance.
WEATHER/HURRICANE POLICY: Palm Beach is located in a tropical climate, which experiences heavy rainstorms and other inclement weather. Please be advised, we do not have a generator and certain amenities may become unavailable due to weather. Hurricane season extends from June 1st through November 30th each year. In the event of a Category 2 Hurricane or higher with a projected path on the Southeast coast of Florida, the hotel will be temporarily closed due to evacuation. In the event of evacuation, the hotel will attempt to contact future guests to notify them of the situation and their reservation will be canceled without penalty.  Guests that are staying at the hotel when an evacuation order is called will be refunded for their remaining stay. During the affected period, we will waive cancellation and no-show charges.  Please contact the hotel for more details.

 

 

 

GROUP RESERVATION POLICIES - please be advised in addition to our cancellation policies, all group reservations (four (4) or more rooms booked by the same party or for the same event) require a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE guarantee due at the time of booking. Additional conditions may apply.

 

CHECK-IN/CHECKOUT: If you are arriving later than our standard check-in time please contact us for late check-in procedures.

Check-In Time: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Checkout Time: 11:00 AM

 

PLEASE NOTE: OUR INN IS NOT STAFFED OVERNIGHT. Staff members are available after hours via cellphone. For after hours assistance, please call the staff using the phone numbers provided during check-in, listed next to the main entrance, and located on the after hours sign at the front desk. The Palm Beach Historic Inn is adjacent  to the Palm Beach Fire & Police stations.

 

PET POLICIES: We accept well-behaved pets of any size, however we require all pets to be registered prior to arrival. We also require a non-refundable pet fee. YOU MUST INFORM US PRIOR TO BOOKING IF YOU ARE BRINGING A PET to ensure we can accommodate you appropriately in one of our designated pet rooms.  Guests with pets WEIGHING 15LBS AND OVER are required to book a designated pet suite. Pet owners are required to fill out & sign a pet damage waiver. THE PALM BEACH HOTEL AND CONDOMINIUMS does NOT permit PETS, however they do allow registered service animals.

PARKING POLICIES: Please review the parking options below and contact us immediately if you have any questions or concerns. The Palm Beach Historic Inn is not liable for any parking violations or damages.
Garage parking is available at Express Parking Garage (Located at 150 Worth Ave, Palm Beach, FL 33480. Telephone (561) 832-8715). Reservations are not required. Unrestricted access for 24 hours costs $27/day.
Street parking is strictly monitored. One & two hour parking spaces are free, but the time limits are strictly enforced. There are metered parking spaces located on S Ocean Rd (maximum two hour parking). Permit parking spaces are heavily monitored (some spaces allow non-permit holders to park during certain hours, Sundays and holidays). Failure to comply with parking restrictions will result in a fine and your vehicle may be towed. The Palm Beach Historic Inn is not liable for any incurred parking fines.
Unrestricted free street parking is sometimes available on the north (left) side of the 100 block of Australian Avenue (located one block North of the Palm Beach Historic Inn).
Please be advised, the commercial loading zone is for licensed commercial vehicles only. Do not stop or park to unload luggage in the commercial loading zone or you will be ticketed.
FITNESS CENTER: Palm Beach Fitness (pbfitness.net) is a full service fitness center located adjacent to the Palm Beach Historic Inn. The gym offers personal training services (additional fee), power plates, free weights, Precor, Cybex, & Nautilus machines. Use of the fitness facility is included in some room rates. Please contact the front desk for more details.
The Palm Beach Historic Inn DOES NOT HAVE A POOL. Palm Beach Historic Inn guests MAY NOT use the Palm Beach Hotel & Condominium pool.
Use of the outdoor pool located at the Palm Beach Hotel & Condominium property is restricted for guests staying at the Palm Beach Hotel & Condominium. 

 

NO SMOKING POLICY: We are a 100% SMOKE FREE establishment. A $250 damage fee will be charged at the SOLE DISCRETION OF MANAGEMENT if our NO SMOKING policy is violated. All rooms (including Palm Beach Hotel & Condominium) are NON-SMOKING.

 

HOUSEKEEPING:
Standard rates at the Palm Beach Historic Inn include daily housekeeping.
Standard rates at the Palm Beach Hotel & Condominium include weekly housekeeping.
In an ongoing effort to decrease our environmental impact, we have implemented "green" business practices where practical. We ask our guests to join our efforts by re-using bath towels, turning off lights & TVs when leaving their room, and utilizing our recycling bins. For guests who stay with us for 3 or more days, we will change bed linens every 3rd day. Additional bed linen changes can be arranged for a $15/per change fee.
RATES:
All rates quoted are for single/double occupancy for specified room type, and exclude occupancy and sales taxes applied to all rates. Please be advised, the Palm Beach Historic Inn reserves the right to re-assign room numbers prior to check-in.
All rates include continental breakfast, complimentary snacks & beverages, wireless internet, and HDTV.
All King/Queen rooms have a maximum occupancy of TWO (2) GUESTS, and Suites have a maximum occupancy of FOUR (4) GUESTS.
Failure to disclose/register additional guests prior to check in may render the reservation invalid and ineligible for refund. Additional guests may be accommodated at management's discretion (additional fee applies). Any room credit is at the discretion of management and the value of credit may be subject to change and blackout dates apply.
Some discounted rates may exclude additional amenities including (but not limited to) fitness center privileges, beach equipment, deluxe breakfast upgrades, and late checkout.
Any rate change/discount requests must be received and confirmed 8 days prior to arrival. No changes will be permitted once the cancellation window has closed.
CONFIRMED RESERVATIONS ARE ONLY GUARANTEED WITH A VALID CREDIT CARD. If you wish to pay using an alternate credit card or payment method the request must be received and confirmed 8 days prior to arrival. If an alternative method of payment is requested after time of booking, a 10% processing fee will be applied.
Upon check in, guest must provide government issued identification and valid credit card for verification.

 

ALL GUESTS ROOMS AT THE PALM BEACH HISTORIC INN ARE LOCATED ON THE SECOND FLOOR. The building is a historic landmark and therefore WE DO NOT HAVE AN ELEVATOR.  Guests requiring an elevator may choose to stay in one of our units (based on availability) at The Palm Beach Hotel & Condominium. Our rooms have individual window/wall AC units. Our lobby and hallways are equipped with central AC.

 

LEGAL CLAIMS-- All parties agree any disputes relating to or arising in connection with this Agreement shall be brought to mediation in West Palm Beach, FL, in a good faith effort to settle the matter. If mediation fails, all claims, proceedings, or legal actions shall be brought in the Palm Beach County Courts, Palm Beach County, FL. The laws of the State of Florida shall apply.

 

By agreeing to our policies, you authorize the Palm Beach Historic Inn to charge your credit card for ANY DAMAGES (including theft) caused to the room(s) and the Palm Beach Historic Inn property during your stay. Amount of charges related to damages are determined at the sole discretion of Palm Beach Historic Inn management.

 

PLEASE BE ADVISED, BY MAKING THIS RESERVATION WITH THE PALM BEACH HISTORIC INN, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE ABOVE TERMS & CONDITIONS.
